Iliza Shlesinger is a grammy-winning comedian, actor, producer and author, who has sold her shows across the world with a devoted fan base who are known for their unique clothing inspired by the artist to wear during her performances. Her life was affected due to her experience as a foster kid and a state ward. She was the child of an affair with a partner and was given little affection by her family. In a party to say goodbye she was introduced to director and producer Spike Lee who approached her for a project. After being praised for Do the Right Thing, her subsequent films also included White Men Can't Jump. In Living Colour has seen her rise to prominence as a choreographer.
