Zoe-perry

Perry is born July 25, 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television appearances were as Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the role. However, her parents did not want her to pursue acting until she became an adult, fearing the effects of stress. Perry, who was too shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry, after graduating from Boston University, moved into New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California to find theater work. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. In 2015, she appeared with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry starred in the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's show The Family. In 2017, Perry had a minor role on the ABC political drama Scandal in which her father was the main character. Also, she was cast on the CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. She got the part through an open audition despite being connected to the persona.
